There’s much to make Portsmouth International Port an impressive Port of Call on any cruise itinerary:

Portsmouth is a vibrant city with a proud maritime heritage. At the Historic Dockyard visitors can see Admiral Nelson’s HMS Victory and Henry VIII’s Mary Rose. The soaring Spinnaker Tower offers stunning views over the modern naval dockyard with its frigates and destroyers, and over sweeping countryside for more than 20 miles. VIP packages are available.

Gunwharf Quays is Britain’s first world-class shopping and leisure waterfront, ideal for time out. It has nearly 100 designer outlets, and 30 cosmopolitan bars and restaurants.

Excursions include Stonehenge and London. The capital is swiftly reached by motorway and the A3, and the route will be faster still now that the Hindhead Tunnel opened in July 2011, bringing the port closer to the capital by up to 1 hour. The historic cities of Winchester and Chichester are even closer.

The Isle of Wight is a short hop across the Solent and the rolling South Downs are justly famed for their natural beauty.

Portsmouth International Port’s dedicated and highly experienced team are able to deliver individual attention to every ship. Our service is smooth and efficient and we offer berths to suit any small to mid-sized cruise ship.
