National Geographic Explorer is a state-of-the-art expedition ship able to navigate polar passages while providing exceptional comfort, yet just as at home cruising around the British Isles. This exceptional ship carries kayaks, a fleet of Zodiac landing craft and undersea exploration equipment for access to even the most hidden-away locations. Facilities include a glass-walled library, one of the best stocked of any ship afloat, and the Observation Lounge with panoramic views and top-quality binoculars.
The Mud Room has lockers for expedition gear, while the ‘Open Bridge’ allows guests to meet officers and the captain and learn about navigation. All cabins face outside with windows or portholes, private facilities and climate controls. There is a glazed Fitness Centre, outdoor stretching area, two spa treatment rooms and a sauna.
