UK Imports
There is no parking space allocated to trucks arriving in the UK. At the Port's discretion, drivers may stay for up to an hour in order to call their depots for instructions, etc. Where drivers do not obtain prior permission and for stays of over one hour, there is a charge of £5 plus VAT per hour or part thereof.
There is a truckstop five miles to the north, at Farlington (M27/A27 east, junction marked A2030 Southsea). Drivers who have not completed their rest periods while at sea can travel straight there without incurring penalties in respect of tacho regulations. The charge is £6 per day. Further information is obtainable at the freight exit gate or by emailing info@portsmouth-port.co.uk
