The biggest global gathering of cruise line industry executives happens every year in Florida, and Portsmouth International Port will once again be represented at this important event in March.
“Seatrade Cruise Global” takes place in Fort Lauderdale, and brings together the most influential leaders in the cruise world. From top cruise line executives and port leaders, to ship builders and security experts, technology and service providers all depend on Seatrade Cruise Global as the destination where the cruise industry comes together. The week-long event provides space for networking, sourcing, innovation, and education.
Mike Sellers, the new Port Director at Portsmouth International Port, has recently stated his aim to increase the number of cruise ships that call at Portsmouth. Mike believes that first class facilities and world class attractions make for a winning combination at the Waterfront City. “Seatrade Cruise Global” is seen as the perfect place to spread the message.
Promotional material highlighting the benefits for cruise companies of bringing ships and passengers to Portsmouth International Port will be distributed from the Cruise Britain stand. The organisation represents UK Ports and suppliers, and is fully briefed on what makes a cruise call to Portsmouth special.
The brochure features details of high quality attractions that can be found on the doorstep of Portsmouth International Port, and ideas for places to visit a little further afield that are easily accessible due to Portsmouth’s excellent transport links.
The Florida event has been running for more than three decades. This year it starts on 13 March with a World Cruise Tourism Summit.
