The Channel Islands’ “Tennerfest” food festival is now in full swing, where visitors can enjoy a three course menu for £10, showing the best of local produce and cooking.
“Tennerfest" runs for six weeks between 1 October and 11 November, with more than 170 restaurants taking part across Guernsey and Jersey. In addition to the traditional £10 “Tennerfest” menus there is now a gourmet price band too, with menus up to £20 delivering the highest quality as well as value for money.
Justin Amey, Head of Marketing at Condor Ferries, said “Tennerfest is a fantastic initiative that has always proved popular with our customers, and provides the perfect excuse to visit the Channel Islands this autumn. Whether you’re looking for your first taste of Channel Island cuisine or you're a regular visitor, we look forward to welcoming guests on board as we whisk them away for a real taste of the Islands.”
The food festival is a celebration of the very best of island food, with many of the menus featuring locally sourced ingredients. Modern and traditional British menus are complimented by restaurants offering French, Italian, Chinese and Indian specialities. The menus are published here on Tennerfest.
Condor Ferries sails daily to the Channel Islands from Portsmouth International Port.
