Continental Ferry Port - No 3-4 berth Caisson Fenders

1. Mariners are hereby reminded that the fenders around the western caisson at the end of No. 3-4 berth Continental Ferry Port should not be used for turning on.
2. The purpose of these fenders is to protect the caisson in the event of a vessel landing heavily on them. They have not been designed for large vessels to pivot around as a manoeuvring aid in turning on or off the berth.
3. Passage plans should carefully be considered to take this into account, with special regard to manoeuvring in adverse weather.
