VESSELS USING BERTH 4 & 5 CONTINENTAL FERRY PORT
AND NORTH QUAY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following regulations apply to all vessels using Berths 4 and 5, Continental Ferry Port and North Quay, with immediate effect. (For the purpose of this notice North Quay includes both the oil berth and the adjacent lay-by berth).
Berth 4: No vessel will be permitted to lie alongside any vessel on berth 4 when a vessel is berthing on or unberthing from berth 5 or North Quay.
Berth 5: No vessel will be permitted to lie alongside any vessel on berth 5 when a vessel is berthing on or unberthing from North Quay.
North Quay: Vessels berthing and unberthing at North Quay are directed to use 2 tugs/workboats to assist in the manoeuvre. Vessels with operational bow thruster units may be permitted to use only one tug subject to prior agreement of the Harbour Master Commercial Port.
