VESSELS USING BERTH 4 & 5 CONTINENTAL FERRY PORT

AND NORTH QUAY

 

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following regulations apply to all vessels using Berths 4 and 5, Continental Ferry Port and North Quay, with immediate effect. (For the purpose of this notice North Quay includes both the oil berth and the adjacent lay-by berth).

  2. Berth 4: No vessel will be permitted to lie alongside any vessel on berth 4 when a vessel is berthing on or unberthing from berth 5 or North Quay.

  3. Berth 5: No vessel will be permitted to lie alongside any vessel on berth 5 when a vessel is berthing on or unberthing from North Quay.

  4. North Quay: Vessels berthing and unberthing at North Quay are directed to use 2 tugs/workboats to assist in the manoeuvre. Vessels with operational bow thruster units may be permitted to use only one tug subject to prior agreement of the Harbour Master Commercial Port.

  5. This notice is issued by QHM on behalf of the Harbour Master, Portsmouth Commercial Port.
