Fête de la Crevette

The Fête de la Crevette in Honfleur is a yearly celebration of the maritime importance of the harbour. The queen of the event is the little grey shrimp, the “petite grise”, which is a local speciality. Highlights of the festival include concerts of sea shanties, a shrimp peeling competition, stands and a gathering of old sea vessels.
